Committed people needed to help organise the 2024 Relay for Life alongside HB Cancer Society staff .
A number of different roles available.
Relay For Life - Te Ara Toiora is an inspiring community event that gives everyone a chance to celebrate cancer survivors and carers; remember loved ones lost to cancer; and fight back by raising awareness and funds for the Cancer Society.
Relay for Life is coming back to Hawke's Bay bigger and brighter than ever (16 March 2024 from 2pm to 9pm), and we are seeking capable and committed people to join the organising committee.
The committee is usually formed in June of the year prior to the event.

Two hours per fortnight initially, increasing in the week prior to the event.
Commitment and reliability, good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Fundraising and event coordination experience would be useful in some roles but is not essential.
