All not-for-profits, community groups and charity-based organisations can register with Volunteering Hawkes Bay to help find volunteers for your cause.
It is a simple free process.
Our Registration Process
Once we have received your completed registration form we will get in touch by phone and arrange a time to meet and discuss your volunteering needs. We will ask about your current processes, health and safety guidelines as well as get details around the roles and opportunities you have for people to to volunteer with.
What We Offer
Volunteer Coordinators Network Meetings
Throughout the year, we hold a series of networking events which offer the opportunity to discuss volunteering-related topics, ask questions and share volunteer management ideas and experience. There are also includes regular get-togethers for drinks, snacks and chats where we can encourage one another and meet new people who manage volunteers.
We can provide assistance with creating role listings that achieve the results you are looking for. If you have an upcoming event, discuss promoting it via our Facebook page.
Take advantage of our library of information about recruitment, training and supervision of volunteers. We also have resources to help with settng up a volunteer programme, recruiting volunteer coordinators and more.
Throughout the year, we provide a series of training across numerous topics and fields, all designed to help you, your baord and your volunteers serve our communities better.
