To be well-suited to volunteer with Disability Training Services (DTS), you would have a strong empathy for people with disabilities, good communication skills, a keen sense of humour and a caring, pleasant manner.
DTS work on the principle of enabling good lives and this means encouraging our Clients to be the best they can be and no dream is too small. You will be involved in assisting activities, indoor and outdoor and working with the Clients, as a group, or one on one.
Volunteering for DTS is about making a positive change in our Clients’ lives. We will work alongside our volunteers to ensure they are comfortable and feel included into the DTS family.
