We are currently seeking volunteers to join our shop team on Saturday and Sunday. Over the summer period our shop volunteer schedule is 9.00am-1.00pm for the morning shift and 1.00pm-5.00pm for the afternoon shift. In winter we have shorter opening hours.
If you have a flair for retail sales (or would like to learn) and meeting people from around the world, this could just be the volunteer role for you. Plus, your daily dress will be 1930’s style for all you Deco lovers. We offer reimbursement for travel time.

Do you have what it takes to provide an exceptional experience for our locals and overseas visitors?
Are you fun, helpful and courteous to customers?
Founded in 1985, the Art Deco Trust began as small voluntary group of people determined to prove that Napier’s post-earthquake heritage had the potential to benefit the city.
Today, the Art Deco Trust has grown into a social enterprise aimed at driving the preservation of Hawke’s Bay’s unique Art Deco heritage.
It is through the commercial gains from walks and tours and retail that we can financially contribute to our preservation goals.
The Art Deco Trust could not survive without volunteer support and we are in need of more shop volunteers.
We are a 7-day operation selling giftware, membership, walks and tours and the annual festival tickets.
We have fortnightly rostered shifts either 9.30am to 12pm or 12pm to 2.30pm (in winter).
Retail experience recommended, full training, honest and reliable, courteous and friendly.
