Are you a friendly, reliable, organised team player with administrative experience and a genuine interest in helping our community? Then volunteering for VHB could be for you!
Our service hours are Monday to Thursday, 9.00am - 3.00pm. Most of our volunteer team come in one day a week for three hours, to our office at The Hive in Hastings. This role would suit someone who is retired; wanting to build confidence to re-enter the workforce or a Mum/Dad while your children are at school.
The day-to-day tasks include supporting our many volunteers and organisations with a key focus to make connections. The role requires phone work, emails, data entry and administrative duties. You’ll be given training to use our database & systems with ongoing support to ensure you’re confident and find the work rewarding.
There is a further opportunity to train and be part of the emergency volunteer programme established to support lead agencies like Civil Defence.
The role offers great variety and is part of a caring team constantly evolving as we work together to improve our services to help others. If you have relevant skills and experience and want to make a valuable contribution to volunteering across our region, we’d love to connect with you.
