Dolly the War Horse Trust plans to unveil a bronze statue of a horse on the 24th of February 2026 (Purple Poppy Day). This day commemorates the horses, mules, dogs, pigeons and cats that had to endure such horrible privations in adverse conditions.
The bronze statue will be in Civic Square in Hastings. It will be fully funded by the Trust through fundraising.
A Secretary is required by the Trust to help with keeping records of meetings etc. You will need to attend meetings but will be able to work from home at your own convenience.
This is a unique position and important to the proper functioning of the Trust.
