Assisting in the coaching and supervising our Bocce squad of 20 Special Olympians.
Special Olympics is a sports organisation that has been formed to enable people with an intellectual disability to participate in sport.
This squad currently trains once a week on a Monday night 4.30 - 6.30 pm - but this is flexible should the night not suit.
There is also one two-day event held annually in Hastings and 2 - 3 tournaments out of town per annum.
We use the Clubs Hastings Bowling Centre, Victoria Street, Hastings.
Special Olympians are required to train once a week to enable them to participate in any competitions run by Special Olympics.
Most of this current squad are just training and not necessarily traveling away.

- Has a disability toilet.
Interest in working with people with intellectual disabilities, ensuring support and coaching to see them meet their highest potential.
