Radio Hawke's Bay is looking for volunteers to join our team as Digital Moderators. This role involves reviewing and publishing content from official and community sources on our digital platforms. You'll evaluate press releases, community updates, and more, ensuring they align with our editorial guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
● Review and publish news, stories, and press releases for Radio Hawke’s Bay’s apps and website.
● Work from home as part of a flexible roster that covers seven days a week.
● Be part of the Emergency Broadcast System (EBS) team, ready to assist in activating emergency communications during a Civil Defence Emergency.
Support and Training: Full training will be provided, and you'll have ongoing support t from professional media editors, ensuring you’re confident and capable in your role
Requirements:
● Strong interest in local news and community events.
● Good editorial judgement and attention to detail.
● Reliable internet access and ability to work independently. Benefits:
