Samaritans is a confidential, non-judgemental and non-religious listening and support telephone service.
We look for people with the ability to listen without passing judgment.
Our support service operates 24 hours a day for people who may be depressed, lonely, suicidal or just need to talk to someone.
We provide full training and ongoing support.
Typically once you are trained (carried out from the comfort of your own home) you will be asked to work one 2-hour shift per week at your convenience.
