What Can You Help With?
Preparation begins about a week before each event, and volunteers are involved in a variety of tasks, including:
- Decorating and preparing the cross-country course
- Flagging and numbering fences
- Mowing, tidying, and presenting the grounds at their best
- Assisting during event days in a variety of support roles
Hawke’s Bay is known for its sunshine, but as with any outdoor event, we work in almost all weather conditions—so bring your enthusiasm and a sense of humour!
