HBG Athletics & Harriers host numerous major athletics events throughout the year and this year is no exception, with the following major event coming up:
- New Zealand Secondary School Athletics and Road Race Championships (5-7 December 2025, Mitre 10 Sports Park, Hastings) - one of the largest athletics events held annually in New Zealand.
To make these events enjoyable for athletes, spectators, officials, and volunteers alike, we require a significant number of volunteers across a variety of areas are needed:
these include catering, helping in the field of play (right alongside athletes), marshalling in call tent, marshalling at road race, running results, merchandise plus many others.
