Garden volunteers are responsible for helping to maintain the grounds of Cranford Hospice. The gardens bring great pleasure to patients, families/whanau, staff and volunteers. Working as part of a team, you’ll play a key role in the development and protection of the garden so that it can be enjoyed by everyone. Wednesday mornings 9-12pm.

Assistant in seasonal garden tasks throughout the year including weeding, mulching, edging, raking, digging over, staking and tying in, pruning, bed preparation, tidying and path maintenance.

Participating in the discussion, planning and coordination of Cranford gardens

Contribute to cleaning the garden equipment at the end of each shift.

Ensure all equipment is safely and securely stored.

Be a friendly face to patients and visitors using the garden
