Dress for Success Hawke’s Bay is looking for kind, practical, and community-minded volunteers to help us support more than 100 women each year as they take steps toward employment, education, and new opportunities.
Our service empowers women facing barriers to employment by helping them feel confident, capable, and ready for work. We do this through professional styling, clothing support, mentoring, and employment preparation.
We’re currently looking for volunteers who can help with:
- Sorting donated clothing, shoes, and handbags
- Putting together work-ready outfits
- Washing, ironing, steaming, and preparing garments
- Organising and displaying clothing
- Maintaining a welcoming and tidy studio space
- Supporting clothing sustainability and reuse initiatives
Every item you prepare helps a woman walk into an interview, training opportunity, or workplace with confidence and dignity.
No experience is needed—just a positive attitude and a willingness to help. We welcome volunteers of all ages and backgrounds.
Flexible hours are available to fit around your schedule.
Come and be part of something meaningful. Help women across Hawke’s Bay step confidently into brighter futures.
