Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of older people in our community? Age Concern Napier is seeking two new volunteer Board Members to help guide and shape the future of our organisation.
As a member of our Board of Governance, you'll play an important role in supporting Age Concern Napier's mission, strategic direction, culture, and long-term sustainability. Our Board is more than a governance body. It is a team of dedicated individuals committed to ensuring older people in Hawke's Bay are valued, connected, informed, and supported.
What's Involved?
- Attend a monthly Board meeting, currently held on Wednesday afternoons at 2.30 pm.
- Review agendas and board papers in preparation for meetings.
- Contribute to strategic decision-making and organisational oversight.
- Support the ongoing success and sustainability of Age Concern Napier.
Meetings are held at the Age Concern Napier office or occasionally at a Board member's home.
This is a rewarding opportunity to use your skills, experience, and insights to help strengthen services and support for older people across our community.
