Museum Volunteer

Join our team as a Museum Volunteer and help preserve and share the rich history of Central Hawke's Bay at our museum housed in the Historic Bank of New Zealand Building.

Your role will involve engaging with visitors, providing information about our varied collections, administrative support and assisting with museum operations.

Whether you have a passion for history, enjoy interacting with people, or simply want to contribute to preserving local heritage, this volunteer position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a difference. No prior experience is required, just a willingness to learn and a friendly demeanour. 

Join us for as little as once a week to help deliver our charitable purpose to provide an authentic, hands-on educational experience for all visitors!
