In order to put on a fully staged opera, delivered by a very small team, we require a team of helpful volunteers to assist us in a number of areas. Volunteers make an enormous difference to the smooth running of our operas, and we simply could not do this without them.
Areas we require volunteers are:

Dressmaking assistants – working with our designer to bring her creations into being

Props - this may include sourcing and assisting a Props Manager

Baking for rehearsals - we can provide the ingredients; you do the baking and deliver to pre-arranged drop off point

Pickup and delivery of catering to the rehearsal venue and theatre

Maintaining tea and coffee station as well as general cleaning up and tidying of rehearsal space prior to rehearsals and then throughout rehearsal period.

Artist-Driver - driving some of our Artists to and from rehearsals and performances

Orchestra/Artist Accommodation - homes are often needed to billet musicians. Hosting professional artists and others just starting their careers

Theatre Stage Door Monitor - checking every person in (and out) of the theatre

Green Rooms – Pre-rehearsal/pre-performance set up and maintenance of tea & coffee stations

Dressing room assistants on dress rehearsal and performance dates

Make-Up Team - assistants for the performances

Pack out of rehearsal space / Pack into theatre (some extra muscle is good here please!)
