Proof Reader

The Hawke's Bay Knowledge Bank digitally records written, oral and pictorial history donated or loaned to us. Our role is to preserve and digitally store the history for future generations.

Once a document or book has been transcribed it requires proof reading. Attention to detail is a must.

We do not correct spelling, grammer or punctuation in the text. Your role is to ensure that the transcription is the same as the original document.

You can work from home or at our base at Hastings.

If working from home you will need a computer. Training and support will be provided.

If you have an interest in the History of Hawke's Bay and its people, please consider volunteering with us.
