Radio Programme Researcher

The  Hawkes Bay Knowledge Bank would love you to join their Media team.

Volunteers are needed to produce 4-5 minute programmes of Hawke’s Bay’s history and anecdotes.

The work includes:    

  • Researching stories for radio
  • Script writing
  • Recording radio programmes
  • Editing interviews prior to broadcast
  • Research in a myriad of fields

Full training is provided.

The Knowledge Bank is keen to bring history back-to-life and to make our history interesting and fun through stories and anecdotes broadcast on local radio.

If you fancy trying your hand at a spot of journalism then we would love to hear from you.

This work can be done from home or at our base at Stoneycroft House 901 Omahu Road, Hastings.
