Scanning Images/Photos/Documents

The Hawke's Bay Knowledge Bank digitally records written, oral, and pictorial history donated /loaned to us to preserve and digitally store the history.

There is a vast array of tasks to be undertaken, not all of them computer-based.

Do you enjoy photography? This could be the role for you.

Images, photos and documents are scanned on our high resolution equipment and stored in our database. This work is completed at our base at Stoneycroft House in Hastings.

Once the images are scanned they require post processing such as cropping and tidying. This part of the process can be done remotely on a standard computer.

The work is interesting and varied and can be completed at a time that suits you.
