The Hawke's Bay Knowledge Bank digitally records written, oral and pictorial history donated or loaned to us. Our role is to preserve and digitally store the history for future generations.
We require volunteers to transcribe these documents. Everything we receive needs to be typed out, so it can be searched on the website. We are looking for accuracy rather than speed in this role.
You can work from home or at our base at Stoneycroft House in Hastings.
If working from home you will need a computer. Software we use free and easy to download and training and support will be provided.
If you have an interest in the History of Hawke's Bay, please consider volunteering with us.
Accurate keyboard skills.
