Te Tipu Whenua Early Childhood Centre is looking for a kind-hearted and reliable volunteer to help us support our tamariki and whānau.
We need a Van Driver to assist with transport – helping children get safely to and from the centre so they can learn, grow, and thrive.
🌱 About the role
This is a small commitment with a big impact:
• 1 hour in the morning
• 1 hour in the afternoon
💛 What you’ll be doing
• Safely driving our children to and from the centre
• Offering a friendly smile and calm presence each day
• Helping create a positive, caring start and end to their day
✅ What we’re looking for
• A full, clean driver licence
• Someone reliable, patient, and caring
• A safe and confident driver
• Willingness to complete police vetting (required for working with children)
By giving a couple of hours a day, you’re helping open the door to education, connection, and opportunity for our tamariki.
