Help Keep Little Elms a Home Away from Home
Little Elms Charitable Trust is seeking a skilled and reliable Volunteer Handyman to assist with minor maintenance and painting at our accommodation complex in Hastings.
Little Elms provides subsidised accommodation for children and families who need to stay close to loved ones receiving treatment at Hawke's Bay Hospital. By helping maintain our facilities, you'll be creating a safe, welcoming, and comfortable environment for families during some of the most challenging times of their lives.
Tasks May Include:
- Minor fence repairs and general maintenance
- Exterior painting and touch-ups of decking
- Basic carpentry and odd jobs
- Helping keep the property in excellent condition
We're Looking for Someone Who:
- Has practical handyman or maintenance skills
- Is reliable and takes pride in their work
- Can volunteer a few hours on a regular basis or as needed
- Enjoys giving back to the community
All tools and materials for approved maintenance tasks can be provided where required.
Your time and skills will directly benefit families across Hawke's Bay by helping ensure Little Elms remains a warm, well-maintained home away from home.
Location: Little Elms Charitable Trust, Hastings
Time Commitment: Flexible – a few hours a week or as required
