Help Make a Difference for Hawke's Bay Families
The Little Elms Charitable Trust is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help at our Ride in a Truck Day fundraising event on Saturday, 10 October 2026.
Ride in a Truck Day is a fun, family-focused event that raises vital funds to support Little Elms Charitable Trust, which provides subsidised accommodation for children and families who need to stay close to loved ones receiving treatment at Hawke's Bay Hospital.
Volunteer Roles Include:
- Assisting with event set-up and pack-down
- Welcoming and directing attendees
- Helping manage rides and queues
- Supporting children's activities and inflatable areas
- Managing payclip payments and petty cash
- Providing general event support where needed
Date: Saturday, 10 October 2026
Location: Tomoana Showgrounds, Hastings
Time: Various shifts available

What We're Looking For:
- Friendly, reliable volunteers aged 16+ (under 16 may volunteer with an adult)
- Positive attitude and willingness to help
- Ability to work as part of a team
- No previous experience necessary
