Wilding Pine Control

Volunteers will be trained on how to treat wilding pines with herbicide, secateurs or pruning saws. The activities will be based in the Kawekas close to Kuripapango on the Napier Taihape Road. Transport is shared from Omahu/Fernhill. Volunteer dates are roughly monthly and are from 9am to 4pm.

 

The type of person we are looking for (is): 

physically fit, safety conscious, willing to work as part of a team and used to tramping, hunting or other similar bush environment activities.
