What we exist for:
Through the generous support of our members, sponsors and charitable trusts Coastguard Hawke's Bay is able to provide high quality marine search and rescue services to the greater Hawke's Bay region.
We have a world class rescue vessel, Celia Knowles Rescue (CK Rescue) and access to an aircraft for searching.
Our Operations Centre enables us to manage searches and also provide public education facilities.
Coastguard Hawke's Bay sees itself very much as part of the community.
We raise most of our funding locally, our people come from the local community and we are here to serve local and visiting boaties.
We also work with a number of local organisations and individuals.
