What we exist for:
The Napier City Council has partnered with the Hawke's Bay Emergency Management Group to establish Community Emergency Hubs across the region. These hubs are designed to coordinate community efforts during and after emergencies, ensuring the safety and comfort of everyone in the community.
Hubs are run by community members without official assistance, providing a place for neighbours to help each other in a coordinated way. Opportunities to support hubs as a volunteer will appear on this page.
