We’re looking for warm, approachable people who enjoy helping others to join our team as volunteer interviewers. In this role, you’ll support clients who come to us for advice, helping them talk through their situation and explore possible solutions.
Volunteers are truly at the heart of the Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB), and we simply couldn’t do what we do without them.
About the role:

Rostered shifts Monday to Friday:
9:00am – 12:30pm or 12:30pm – 4:00pm -
Occasional Saturday morning shifts:
9:00am – 11:00am (on a roster basis) - Most volunteers contribute around 4 hours per week
- You may assist clients over the phone, by email, or face-to-face in the bureau
We provide full training and support from day one, including flexible online learning that you can complete at your own pace. You’ll also be supported by a friendly team, with plenty of peer guidance along the way.

We’re looking for someone with a warm and friendly approach who is honest, reliable, and enjoys helping others. You’ll feel comfortable using a computer and be interested in researching information to help find the best options for our clients.
You’ll have experience interacting with people and take satisfaction in helping to solve problems and make a positive difference.
A good sense of humour, patience, and a caring attitude are important, along with a commitment to volunteering on an ongoing basis.
