Literacy Coach Online

This position is a bit like being a virtual tutor. You are helping the learner with reading and writing via Zoom, Google Meet and phone.

You are helping the learner with reading and writing via video conference phone and email. We have found that, without someone to help them, the learners intend to practice - but do not. You will help the learner practice spelling words and work with them on their reading/writing. Working with the Student Coach Coordinator, you will work together to develop an individualized plan for the student's learning. You work together with the student to develop goals and select materials and activities to help them reach those goals. This role is very important and by doing it you can change a learners life - and that of their family. This volunteer role is flexible and can be done anywhere. Helping otherwise isolated learners to better their lives.

We train you and give you all the support you need.
