Would you like to be a part of a new Pest Trapping Community Group? Are you passionate about local wildlife and looking to connect with your community?
We are launching a brand new pest trapping group for Park Island, and we need passionate locals to help bring it to life!
You won't be doing it alone. With the support of Napier City Council - Predator Free Taradale and Predator Free Napier Hill are fully backing this startup with our established resources, guidance, and expertise. This is a chance to learn as you go, but ultimately make the project your own and shape it to fit your community.
We will be running a:
Community Open Day
Sunday 23 August 11am - 12pm
Near the Dog Agility Track at Park Island
Come along for a sausage sizzle and meet the Predator Free Teams, learn about what we do, to see if you might want to join the movement.
Roles We Are Looking For
Whether you have a spare hour a week or specialized skills to share, there is a place for everyone:

- Funding Applications: Help secure grants and financial support to grow the project.
- Trap.nz Administrators: Help manage our data and mapping on the Trap.nz app.
- Admin: The steady hands working away behind the scenes to keep the project running smoothly
