We can get rather attached to toys or peices of furniture. They often have deep emotional memories attached to them, and when they break or get damaged it can be quite devastaing.
We are looking for a couple of people who can help to mend some of those favourite things we have.
- Toys
This job is mostly about re-gluing the plastic bits back together. Sometimes you will need to find out why the mechanics have stopped.
- Furniture
Mostly these are made from wood. The repairs generally are fixing broken chair legs, dolls houses etc.
The Repair Cafe operates the second Sunday of most months, 12.30 - 4.30pm, at 4 locations throughout Hastings.
