This role involves transporting injured / sick animals from Hawke's Bay to Wildbase Hospital at Massey University's Manawatū campus in Palmerston North.
Wildbase Hospital is dedicated to caring for sick and injured native wildlife, providing medical and surgical care before returning the animals back to the wild. The Hospital works closely with the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at Massey.
We will provide a transportation cage or crate to keep both the animal and the driver safe during the journey. Fuel vouchers are provided.
Driver licence is required.
