Camp Kaitawa is seeking 1–3 dedicated trustees to help guide the future of this unique outdoor education camp.Our existing (10) trustees are former students, parents or teachers who have attended camp, and now wish to give back to the TrustTrustees primarily contribute to monthly meetings in Napier or Hastings, but can also visit the camp (approx 2.5 hours from Napier) , 2-3 times a year to assist with maintenance.No particular training is required other than a willingness to contribute towards the wellbeing of the Camp.

We’re looking for community‑minded people who value hands on learning, enjoy supporting schools and young people, have an interest in Te Urewera, and can contribute skills in governance, marketing, property oversight, or strategic planning. This is a rewarding opportunity to help maintain and grow a much‑loved local asset.
