How do I volunteer as a Board Member?

Are you interested in volunteering for a not-for-profit board?

There are some great reasons to serve.

Firstly, you will be helping out in your community; but you will also have the chance to strengthen your leadership, governance, and strategic skills, expand your networks, build confidence and develop your credibility and reputation.

Being on a board involves attending regular meetings, reviewing information to make considered, responsible decisions, working on the organisation’s mission and strategic planning, hiring operational staff and ensuring that legal and financial responsibilities are fulfilled.
