As the non-profit sector continues to evolve, effective governance has never been more important. A knowledgeable and engaged board is one of the most valuable assets an organisation can have.
This workshop is a great introduction to governance for new governing group members and a great opportunity to keep up to date for experienced group members. Most importantly, focus is on the whole group having the same understanding of what’s involved and agreeing how you want governance
to work for your organisation.
Expect practical advice, real-world examples, and clear guidance you can apply straight away—without the jargon and technical language that often make governance feel more complicated than it needs to be.
Date: Saturday 12 September 2026
