Hastings District Council is calling for nominations for the annual Civic Awards, and wants to hear about anyone who, through unpaid, voluntary service has dedicated their time and energy to our district and community. Open to both individuals and organisations, the awards shine a light on the quiet, long-term commitment shown in all kinds of fields - from welfare support to the arts, the environment, sport and more.
The nominations are open now and close on Friday 14 February. Go to www.hastingsdc.govt.nz/our-council/civic-awards to fill in an application online, or pick up a hard copy at the Council administration building on Lyndon Rd East or Hastings Libraries.
