Eight Hawke's Bay organisations recently joined us for our Getting Your Board Onboard workshop, exploring practical ways to strengthen governance, leadership, succession planning and decision-making.
Strong governance is the foundation of a successful community organisation. When boards are confident, informed and effective, organisations are better positioned to support their volunteers, achieve their goals and respond to the changing needs of our communities.
By building governance capability locally, we're helping ensure Hawke's Bay's community sector remains resilient, sustainable and ready for the future.
The workshop is already making an impact, with one participant sharing:
